TAMPA, JULY 28, 2016 - Over 75 USF freshmen student-athletes volunteered their time at the Tampa Heights Youth Community Center Thursday morning.
Together, they tended to the community garden, painted and helped construct garden boxes.
It is the third consecutive year that USF has helped out at the community center. The 75 freshmen that participated are a part of the first-ever USF Athletics Summer Bridge Program, a 6-week comprehensive transition to campus life and the demands of being a student-athlete.
