TAMPA, NOV. 19, 2015 – The Bulls put their busy schedules on hold for an important community event the program looks forward to each year.
More than 100 USF student-athletes traveled to classrooms all over the Tampa Bay community to participate in the Great American Teach-In on Thursday. The Bulls had a blast sharing their success stories and giving words of encouragement to young students while setting a new program record by visiting 17 different schools.
USF’s trip included stops at Kimbell Elementary, Williams Middle School, Lockhart Elementary Magnet Middle School, Mendenhall Elementary, Pizzo Elementary, Chiles Elementary School, Henderson Charter School, Mabry Elementary, Seven Oaks Elementary, Liberty Middle School, Twin Lakes Elementary, Terrace Community Middle School and FishHawk Creek Elementary among others.
