ORLANDO, FLA. (April 13, 2017)— Two multiple-run innings would lead the USF Softball team to a 7-1 victory over UCF, securing a pair of points in the War on I-4 battle.
A two-out rally in the second led to three runs on the scoreboard for the Bulls (26-20, 5-5 American). Lindsey Devitt reached on a fielder’s choice and moved to third on a Morgan Gross double. AnaMarie Bruni walked to load the bases before Kristen Wyckoff drove everyone in on her third triple of the season.
In the top of the sixth, the Bulls plated four runs to extend their lead.
