MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 17, 2016— Juli Weber and Lauren Evans went 2-for-4 at the plate and the Bulls received another dominant outing from the pitching staff as the USF softball team defeated Memphis, 7-0, Sunday afternoon. The win improved the Bulls to 39-10 on the season and 11-1 in conference action, while Memphis fell to 22-23, 4-5 in the American.
The Bulls have now won eight-straight games after a previous season-best of 23 straight wins. In that eight-game span, the Bulls have thrown seven shutouts and allowed just one run in 50 innings. The pitching staff has thrown 37 scoreless innings after giving up just a single run in the first game of the UConn series.
