TAMPA, OCT. 13, 2017 – The University of South Florida men's soccer team conceded two goals early Friday night and couldn't overcome the setback at Corbett Stadium. The Bulls lost to UConn 2-0 in American Athletic Conference action.
USF (6-4-1, 3-1 The American) suffered its first loss in league play. UConn (7-3-2, 4-0 The American) is now in sole possession of the No. 1 spot in conference standings. The Huskies scored in the fourth and eighth minute of the match.
Christian Knight (Odessa, Fla.) played the full 90-minutes and made two saves.
