TAMPA, March 5, 2019 – USF will welcome Central Michigan and Furman on Wednesday for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.
USF (12-9) went 4-2 last week with wins over FGCU, Ball State, Iowa and Western Michigan. The Bulls' midweek doubleheader was dropped from two games to one due to weather, and USF competed in the USF-Clearwater Parks and Recreation Invitational over the weekend.
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Georgina Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) blasted the competition when she went undefeated in the circle, 4-0, to accumulate nine straight wins. The American Pitcher of the Week struck out 43 batters in four games, including setting a new career high at 14 in the Bull's 5-3 win over WMU.
