In the wake of two significant frontcourt losses, USF reportedly has landed USC 6-foot-11 transfer Malik Martin.
CBSSports' Jon Rothstein was the first to report the move. Martin, a Miami native who played his senior year at Brandon's Faith Baptist, must sit out the 2016-17 season unless granted a waiver by the NCAA.
His Trojans bio can be found here. Equipped with fleetness and 3-point efficiency that belies his size, Martin started 15 games (and played in a total of 29) as a freshman, averaging 5.2 points and 3.6 boards and shooting 52.4 percent from the floor.
