Ten players from Hillsborough or Pinellas County are listed as offensive or defensive starters on the Bulls' post-spring depth chart released Friday.
The number grows to 14 when including second-teamers, a tangible sign of the local recruiting inroads made by Coach Willie Taggart's staff since his arrival in December 2012. In Skip Holtz's final game, a 27-3 home loss to Pitt, only four Bulls starters hailed from Pinellas or Hillsborough.
Arguably the biggest surprise on the depth chart is redshirt freshman QB Brett Kean, listed No. 2 ahead of UCLA transfer Asiantii Woulard.
