Bulls Picked to Finish Second in Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Aug. 9, 2016)— After an impressive 2015 season that saw the USF women’s soccer team finish as the runner-up in the American Athletic Conference Tournament, the Bulls were voted to finish second in conference play for 2016.

The league’s 10 coaches voted, with no coach being allowed to vote for their own team, and USF received one first place vote and totaled 65 points. UConn, the 2015 regular season champion, was voted as the favorite for 2016 by unanimous selection. The Bulls have taken two of the last three matches from the Huskies, including a 1-0 win in Tampa last season.
