TAMPA, SEPT. 5, 2015 – The USF volleyball team proved to be on the brink of something special this weekend, hosting three undefeated teams and coming mere points away from topping all three.
The Bulls (2-4 overall) played in six sets that went beyond regulation over the weekend, including two in the USF Classic finale against Missouri (6-0) Saturday night, nearly knocking off the eventual tournament champions before losing in a tightly-contested four-set match.
USF showed signs of breaking out in the first two matches of the tournament before pouring it on in the first set against Missouri Saturday night.
