Roughly two months before the start of preseason drills, USF may be close to adding a junior college quarterback to its 2015 roster.
Karsten Miller, a former North Carolina prep standout who has spent the last two seasons at Northwest Mississippi Community College, reportedly has announced he's headed for USF.
RunningtheBulls.com had the story Tuesday evening, and NWCC coach Jack Wright confirmed the reports to the Tampa Bay Times on Wednesday.
"I have talked to his dad (Karsten Sr.) and he's indicated that's what he wants to do," Wright said.
USF has made no announcement of a roster addition.
