VALENTINE, Neb., SEPT. 26, 2015 – Strong starts by Claudio Correa and Chase Koepka helped boost USF men’s golf near the top of The Jackrabbit leaderboard on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulls grabbed an early lead on the front nine and finished the first round tied for second place with Oregon and South Dakota State at 7-over on the Prairie Club Dunes Course (par-72, 7,522 yards).Top-10 starts by Correa and Koepka helped the Bulls stay within five shots of leader Michigan State with two rounds remaining in USF’s second tournament of the fall.
