TAMPA, NOV. 8, 2015– With its first game of the season two days away, the USF men’s basketball team took some time to visit the Children’s Cancer Center Saturday morning in Tampa.
Every player and coach was involved, putting the kids through basketball activities. Even head coach Orlando Antigua took his whistle from the basketball court of the Muma Center to the playground of Children’s Cancer Center.
Sophomore center Ruben Guerrero knew the day was going to be special from the moment the team arrived.
“When we got to the center, one of the little kids was waving at us,” said Guerrero.
