TAMPA, SEPT. 20, 2015 – The final tune-up for the USF volleyball team ended in a win Sunday, the Bulls topping in-state opponent Florida A&M in three sets, 25-21, 25-20, 26-24 at The Corral.
USF benefitted from a career-high hitting day from sophomore Adyson Goodnight, who led the Bulls with 11 kills on just 16 swings, hitting .688 in an error-free match to send USF past the Rattlers.
The Bulls’ offense came out of the gate strong and never looked back, using four first-set kills from junior Alexus Heidelberg and never trailing throughout the entire first set.
