TAMPA, AUG. 4, 2016 – USF's 20th season of football started with players running past the present and back to the place where it all started.
Head coach Willie Taggart and his team rolled through the swanky Morsani Football Practice Complex and over to the fields where the Bulls first practiced in 1996 on Day 1 of fall camp. USF’s olriginal practice fields, located on the east end of campus, are now used by the university’s intramural programs.
“It’s making them understand there are a lot of guys that helped build this program, a lot of guys that came before them that didn’t have the things that they have now,” Taggart said.
