SURREY, B.C., CANADA (July 23, 2016)—Current and former USF softball players and coaches are continuing to gain international experience at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women’s World Championship. Rising junior Lauren Evans, assistant coach Jessica Moore and head coach Ken Eriksen have spent the last eight days competing, along with former players Karla Claudio and Mo Santos.
“The World Championships have been a showcase of how softball has changed dramatically throughout the world,” Eriksen said. “Many more teams now can challenge for the crown in our sport.”
