NAPA, Calif, NOV. 9, 2016 – USF men’s golf gained valuable NCAA Championship-type experience in its final event of the fall at the Gifford Collegiate.
After placing seventh in stroke play, head coach Steve Bradley’s Bulls faced three opponents in a match play format that resembled the final rounds of the NCAA Championship. USF fell to No. 6 Stanford, UCLA and Wisconsin.
“In my opinion, we’re a better team than we’ve played and hopefully this tournament shows us what it is that we need to work on this offseason to get ready for the spring,” Bradley said.
