INDIAN WELLS, Calif., MARCH 16, 2018 – The USF men's tennis team faced the No. 29-ranked Baylor Bears in the opener of the three-day BNP Paribas Open Collegiate Challenge and took it down to the wire before falling, 4-3, in heartbreaking fashion.
After dropping the doubles point, Pierre Luquet (Drauignan, France) gave the Bulls their first point of the night, making quick work of Baylor's Will Little, 6-2, 6-1 in match number five.
No. 69 Alberto Barroso-Campos (Montijo, Spain) defeated the No. 66-ranked Bjoern Petersen in a straight sets battle, 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 for the second Bulls point of the night on court one.
