Bulls Fall to No. 10 Gators in Midweek Matchup

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (May 5, 2015) – The USF baseball team saw a career night from starter Tommy Eveld, but it wasn’t enough in a 5-1 loss to the No. 10 Florida Gators. The Bulls are now 29-19-1 on the season while the Gators improved to 36-13. 

In his first appearance in over a month, Eveld (1-2) threw a career-high five innings and struck out a career-high six batters in the loss. He gave up five runs on nine hits but walked just two. Mark Savarese threw 2.2 innings of shutout ball, striking out two and walking just one.
