TAMPA, OCTOBER 5, 2018 – The USF volleyball team dropped just its fourth match of the season with a four-set loss to Wichita St. Friday in the Corral. (16-25, 25-21, 17-25, 21-25).
The Bulls (13-4, 2-2 The American) were led by junior Jac'cara Walker (Gainesville, Fla.), who had 13 kills and 15 digs. Senior setter Briana Stowell (Orlando) had 20 assists and 11 digs.
The Shockers (8-7, 3-1 The American) led for the entirety of the opening set, riding a 4-0 lead to open the match. USF grabbed a 3-0 early lead in the second, then battled for most of the frame.
