Bulls Fall To Bearcats In Series Opener, 9-3

TAMPA, APRIL 13, 2017 – The University of South Florida baseball team took an early 2-0 lead but was outscored 9-1 over the final six innings and dropped the series opener to Cincinnati, 9-3.

The Bulls (28-6, 4-3 American) loaded the bases in each of the first two innings and were able to drive in two in the second. After the Bearcats (17-16, 3-4 American) tied the score with runs in the third and fourth, USF retook the edge in the fifth.
