LECANTO, Fla., MAY 2, 2016 – Defending champion USF extended its lead to 12 shots in the second round of the American Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Championship on Monday.
USF (-9) was the lone team to finish under par in the second round, combining to go 6-under on Black Diamond Ranch’s Quarry Course (par-72, 7,025 yards). Head coach Steve Bradley’s Bulls distanced themselves from the pack by going 7-under on the front nine with four players heading to the clubhouse with a score of 72 or better.
“We’re certainly in a good position heading into tomorrow,” Bradley said.
