Bulls Drop Saturday Matinee to Penn, 5-2

TAMPA (March 11, 2017) – After dropping the doubles point, the USF women’s tennis team fought back to a 2-1 lead but couldn’t hold on as the Penn Quakers overcame them, 5-2.

USF needed four singles wins to take the match, and Juliana Cardoso and Vanja Klaric won in straight sets on courts two and six to take a 2-1 lead. In the No. 2 spot, Cardoso defeated Ria Vaidya 6-1, 6-2, and Kalric went 6-3, 6-1 over OJ Singh at No. 6.

The Bulls couldn’t hold as Penn took courts one, four, and five to clinch the match.
