DALLAS, Oct. 6, 2018 – USF men's soccer battled with SMU to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night at Westcott Field in Dallas, earning crucial points in conference play on the road.
Harrison Devenish-Meares was a bright spot on the night for the Bulls (4-5-2, 1-0-2) earning a career-high 10 saves in critical moments for USF, including a 90thminute save which sent the match to overtime. Despite three shot attempts in overtime, USF could not find the game-winner in the extra minutes.
USF was down 1-0 in just the third minute after SMU's Garrett McLaughlin scored the lone Mustang goal on the night.
