TAMPA, MARCH 20, 2019 – USF won its fourth consecutive conference matchup after being down 3-1 against Tulsa, to improve to 4-0 in The American Wednesday afternoon at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.
USF (9-7, 4-0 AAC) battled on courts two and three to clinch the doubles point over the Golden Hurricane (11-7, 0-2 AAC). The nation's No. 15 tandem won for Tulsa on court one, 6-1, but USF's Janvhi Clark (Tauranga, New Zealand) and Laura Pellicer Perello (Valencia, Spain) answered with a 6-4 win on court three. USF took a 5-3 lead on court two, but the Golden Hurricane would answer with two points to tie it up, 5-5 on the deciding doubles court.
