TAMPA (February 19, 2024) – Postponed twice by weather and condensed from three games to just two, the University of South Florida baseball team was finally able to wrap up opening weekend on Monday afternoon at USF Baseball Stadium. The Bulls (0-2) dropped the finale to the Indiana State Sycamores (3-0) by a score of 5-0.
Indiana State was the only team to visit and leave Tampa undefeated with wins over Louisville, UConn and USF. The Sycamores did so on the back of stellar pitching, which also carried them to a 2023 Super Regional (3.84 ERA).
