Barring another late departure, USF's latest football staff shakeup was completed Friday with the official announcement that former Bucs QB Shaun King and former Cincinnati offensive line coach Darren Hiller have come aboard.
As a result of King's arrival, former quarterbacks coach David Reaves becomes associate head coach/tight ends coach, and will keep a role in offensive game planning. Hiller replaces Danny Hope, who stepped down after one highly successful season for family reasons.
David Gilbertson, last year's tight ends coach, is moving to an off-field role. Coach Willie Taggart remains the primary play-caller.
