USF confirmed Monday it has filled one of the prominent behind-the-scenes positions on its football staff with the hiring of journeyman college assistant David Kelly.
Kelly, 59, replaces Jon Haskins as the Bulls' director of player personnel, which encompasses a number of recruiting-related duties. Haskins, a Stanford alumnus, recently left to pursue an opportunity back on the West Coast, which is closer to his wife's job headquarters.
