College Soccer News and has added yet another highly-coveted player in Prosper Figbe. Originally from Edo State, Nigeria, Figbe was born and raised in Ilorin Kwara State and comes from a family of seven with two brothers and two sisters.
Figbe is considered by many as one of the top defenders in the country and chose USF over a handful of other high-profile programs.
After being identified by the MTN Football Scholars program, which uses soccer to promote social change and gives opportunities for the top student-athletes in Nigeria to earn an education at American prep schools and universities, Figbe enrolled at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Conn.
