Brutcher named to Preseason All-Conference Team; AAC Coaches Poll Announced

TAMPA (January 3, 2023) – The American Athletic Conference has announced its Preseason All-Conference Team along with the preseason coaches poll ahead of the upcoming 2023 campaign. The University of South Florida was voted to finish sixth in the eight-team league by the coaches.

Junior Drew Brutcher headlined the AAC Preseason All-Conference Team. Brutcher, a 2021 Freshman All-American, was tabbed to the Preseason All-Conference Team for the second year in a row.

One of the best five-tool players in the country, Brutcher has batted .297 with 15 doubles, 21 homers and 57 RBI over the past two seasons, despite missing significant time with injury in each of the last two years.
