A Boynton Beach man is accused of breaking the jaw of a pit bull that he was supposed to be caring for, police said.
Police on Tuesday arrested Glenn Joassaint, 30, on an animal cruelty charge.
The dog's owner said she worked two jobs and left Codi, an adult pit bull mix, in the care of her sister and her sister's boyfriend, Joassaint. The dog's owner noticed Codi wasn't able to chew certain foods and that her dog's teeth "looked funny," according to a Boynton Beach Police arrest report.
After seeing the dog's injuries, she took him to Paws2Help Animal Clinic on March 26.
