Tampa, Fla. Jan. 1, 2023 – South Florida women's basketball freshman guard Vittoria Blasigh has earned American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week honors for the third time this season, announced by the league office on Monday. Senior forward Evelien Lutje Schipholt earned an additional AAC Honor Roll nod.
Blasigh put up 16 points and netted three of four total 3-pointers in the final frame in South Florida 70-61 conference-opening win against SMU Saturday night at the Yuengling Center in Tampa Fla. The Guard also grabbed four rebounds, dished out three assists, and grabbed a single steal against the Mustangs.
