TAMPA, Fla. (April 4, 2025) – University of South Florida deputy athletic director Kris Pierce was a college student when she first imagined a sports career. She worked in her school's athletic department, trying to figure it out and find her place.
Pierce's first real position: Secretary.
"I learned so much in that job,'' Pierce said. "I tell people all the time, everything that you copy, everything that you do, read it, learn it, absorb it. It doesn't matter where you start. You can always find your path.
