Tampa, Fla., March 13, 2023 – University of South Florida track and field student-athletes Romaine Beckford and Nia Robinson earned a spot on the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association First and Second All-America team, respectively, the organization announced this week.
Beckford competed in the men's high jump, claiming the national title with a mark of 2.24 meters (7-4.25). Beckford became the first national indoor champion for the Bulls and led the men to finish 23rd in the nation, the top finish in program history.
Beckford entered the NCAA championships seeded third after winning the American Athletic Conference High Jump Championship with a leap of 2.
