Atlanta Carver QB Octavious Battle Signs Letter of Intent for USF Football

Right after Tampa Plant quarterback Jordan McCloud signed his letter of intent, three-star Atlanta Carver quarterback Octavious Battle followed suit.

The ATL product with the incredible name had a spectacular senior campaign for the Panthers, leading them all the way to the GHSA Class 5A state semifinals.

Battle was the definition of dual-threat, compiling nearly 4,000 yards of offense by himself both through the air and on the ground.

With elite quarterbacks like Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, and Emory Jones all emerging out of the Peach State this year, Battle seemingly flew under the radar, allowing for USF to swoop in and keep hold of his commitment since June.
