USF men’s basketball forward Alexis Yetna was voted on by conference coaches as AAC Freshman of the Year, the first Bull to receive such honors since Jorge Azcoitia was named Sun Belt Freshman of the Year in 1979.
He led the league in rebounding and double-doubles.
He recorded the second-most rebounds by a freshman in league history.
He was a unanimous selection to the All-Freshman Team.
