TAMPA, Fla. (February 5, 2025) – The University of South Florida men's basketball team welcomes Temple to the Yuengling Center on Thursday, February 6. The Bulls (11-11, 4-5) and the Owls (14-8. 6-3) are set to battle on ESPN2 with a 7 p.m. tip. During the game, the American Athletic Conference will honor the legacy of Amir Abdur-Rahim.
The South Florida versus Temple game has a special backdrop. The late Amir Abdur-Rahim will be named the AAC's Honorary Coach of the Year by Commissioner Tim Pernetti, who will accompany Abdur-Rahim's family. The AAC will donate $15,000, Abdur-Rahim's contracted bonus for achieving the Coach of the Year honor, to the Future Foundation, a cause close to the Abdur-Rahim family's hearts.
