TAMPA (JULY 11, 2016) – The University of South Florida baseball program is very visible this summer as 10 Bulls are playing across the country.
Some things that stand out:
Infielder David Villar (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) hit two home runs in the last week for the Danbury Westerners (NECBL). He has now hit safely in four consecutive games.
Catcher Joe Genord (Lake Worth, Fla.) continues to have a strong summer for the Amsterdam Mohawks (Perfect Game Collegiate League). Genord tallied another home run and five RBIs in the last week.
