Both teams own wins over the Gamecocks in the regular season. But who would match up the best against them tomorrow?
Tonight's Georgia/Mississippi State tilt will determine who will take on the third-seeded South Carolina Gamecocks in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals tomorrow. It will set up to be an interesting matchup since both teams have beaten the Gamecocks already this regular season: UGA won both times that they played the Gamecocks while Mississippi State split the season series - with each team winning on their home court.
If the Gamecocks end up playing UGA, the old "It's hard to beat a team three times in the same season" adage will come into play.
