SANDESTIN, Fla. – New South Carolina coach Will Muschamp had a simple solution when asked what he has to do with the Gamecocks that he didn’t do at Florida.
“Score more points,” he said this week at the SEC spring meetings. “Make the scoreboard go up. That’s going to help … If I had to point at one thing, that’s what we need to do, and that falls on my shoulders — nobody else’s.”
In an effort to score more points, Muschamp hired Kurt Roper as offensive coordinator. Roper was Florida’s offensive coordinator in 2014, the season Muschamp was fired.
