Will Muschamp as South Carolina head coach "all but done", per SI.com

The former Florida head coach will get another chance at running a program - this time in Columbia.

Will Muschamp, the defensive coordinator of the Auburn Tigers, has agreed in principle to become the head coach of the South Carolina football program. According to SI.com, the deal is "all but done"; it's likely an official announcement and deal will come as early as Monday, likely Tuesday. It's not known whether or not he will perform his DC duties during Auburn's bowl game - but it's unlikely.

In his second stint as the Tigers' DC, Muschamp's defense ranked 52nd in defensive S&P+ as the team struggled to a 6-6 record.
