USC-UNC baseball game in Charlotte postponed to Wednesday due to weather

COLUMBIA — Weather concerns have led South Carolina and North Carolina to postpone their scheduled baseball game in Charlotte until Wednesday.

The teams were originally slated to meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at BB&T Park in downtown Charlotte. But with an 80 percent chance of precipitation and a strong chance of thunderstorms forecast for that night, the schools elected to push back the meeting to the same time on Wednesday.

All tickets issued will be good for Wednesday, according to USC. The Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A Chicago White Sox affiliate which calls the stadium home, are on the road and not scheduled to play at home again until Thursday night.
