South Carolina baseball commits will be playing for a new head coach when they arrive on campus, but pitcher commits will get to learn from a familiar face in pitching coach Jerry Meyers.
Gamecocks head coach Mark Kingston opted to keep Meyers on staff after being hired last month, a move that USC commits for the class of 2018 were happy to see.
“I'm thrilled that he's staying. He was one of my main recruiters when I committed to South Carolina,” lefty John Gilreath said. “He just knows so much about pitching and him staying, it definitely helps out a lot.
