Quarterback Jake Bentley came to South Carolina football with a notable name in the sport.
This summer he’ll get to mingle with members of the biggest name family in quarterbacking.
Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp confirmed Jake Bentley will be a counselor at the Manning Passing Academy this summer. The four-day clinic is one of the most prestigious events a college player can work, especially a young one.
“Archie (Manning) called me, and Archie and I have gotten to be very good friends,” Muschamp said Thursday at a Spurs Up Tour stop in Greenwood. “I wanted Jake to be at the camp.
