UNC Wilmington transfer C.J. Bryce taking official visit to South Carolina

The Gamecocks are in the hunt for another high-scoring guard with the departures of Sindarius Thornwell (graduation) and P.J. Dozier (declared for draft). According to SportsTalk’s Phil Kornblut, C.J. Bryce, who announced his transfer UNC Wilmington after Kevin Keatts was hired as Mark Gottfried’s replacement, arrived yesterday for an official visit on the South Carolina campus and will complete it today. Bryce will need to sit a year due to NCAA regulations and then have two years of eligibility remaining.

Bryce was the Seahawks’ leading scorer last year at 17.4 points per game. He was fairly efficient from the field, sinking 48.
