South Carolina’s football team is losing two players going into 2018 spring practice.
Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp announced running back C.J. Freeman and wide receiver Jared Washington came to him in the offseason looking to transfer.
Freeman was a three-star running back recruited by the former staff and signed by Muschamp. He didn’t play a game in Columbia.
Washington joined the team as an early enrollee in 2015. The 5-foot-8, 171-pound pass-catcher broke his leg early and never saw action.
