College Career
Not a highly touted recruit out of Woodmont High School, Malik Young battled injury and adversity to still qualify for the Shrine Bowl. An impressive showing at a Gamecock summer-camp spurred Coach Elliot and the Offensive Line staff to take a hard look at, and eventually offer a scholarship to, the up-and-coming Right Guard from the upstate.
