Consensus three-star prospect. 27th best offensive guard in the country according to 247sports, and the 43rd best player in the state of Georgia for the class of 2013 by Scout. Received offers from Virginia Tech, Miami, North Carolina and Kentucky among others.
College Career
After missing most of the 2014 preseason, Knott stepped up to play in all 13 games, starting in eight contests, including the first six. Despite being limited by a high-ankle sprain sustained in the game versus Georgia, he returned to the starting lineup at Texas A&M and remained there for the rest of the season, making nine starts in all.
