RS Sophomore RB
6'1'' / 216 lbs
Philadelphia, PA (Imhotep)
Other Major Offers:
Ohio St., Penn St., Tennessee, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, basically everyone.
College Career:
Despite some debate, Williams would redshirt his freshman season (2013) before taking the field for the Gamecocks in nine games last year. He racked up 256 yards (5.7 avg) and two touchdowns, including a 110-yard game against Furman.
2015 Outlook:
Williams comes out of spring practice as arguably the most intriguing piece to the offensive puzzle that doesn't involve a quarterback contest. Williams is the prohibitive number-two behind Brandon Wilds, and has shown flashes of brilliance as a breakaway runner that could provide a one-two punch in an effort to fill the massive hole left by Mike Davis' departure to the NFL.
