Welcome back to the Feed Pail! It’s been a fairly busy week or so in South Carolina athletics, so let’s get you caught up on the action and what you might have missed.
The biggest news out of Columbia comes on the heels of the Gamecocks’ annual Garnet and Black spring football game, in which the sophomore Doty emerged as South Carolina’s starter. While Beamer took care to note that competition will continue throughout the summer and fall, Doty is the easy pick here after the departures of Collin Hill and Ryan Hilinski left him the most experienced player in the quarterbacks room.
